In his only season at Washburn, became the school’s single season leader in field goals made and field goal percentage (is also the career leader in field goal percentage with 90.5 percent), was second in single-season PAT kicks made, PAT kicks attempted and field goals attempted, scored the third most single-season points with 109. Was second in the nation in 2009 in field goals per game.

HEAD COACH
Craig Schurig, coach (2002-present)
2005 – AFCA Coach of the Year, MIAA Coach of the Year
Schurig has been head coach of the Washburn Ichabods for almost the entire decade, beginning in 2002. During that time, he has accrued a 54-37 record, and coached players that not only rewrote the record books, but some of whom have even gone to the NFL, something only a handful of Ichabods have done over the years.
