Now that platform has come to Topeka in the form of TedxTopeka, an independently organzied TED-like event designed to encourage conversation and community connections.
The event will take place at the Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy and will feature speakers from across the region sharing ideas and discussing a variety of topics.
“This event is an oppurtunity for speakers from Topeka and surrounding areas to share their ideas with the world,” said Nathan Morris, TedxTopeka founder and organizer comminttee member in a press release.
TEDxTopeka will be held Nov 12th at 5 p.m. at the Topeka Civic Theater and Academy. Tickets are sold out but tickets can still purchased for $35 to attend a watch party in the Old Father Theater.
