The KSWU News show started as a project for a mass media class. Senior Kara Protasio has a passion for TV News, so she decided to recruit some students and get a live news show on campus.

Protasio recruited from the mass media department and brought in co-anchor Carly Willis and sports anchor Trevin Edelman to join weather reporter Fatima Oubaid. 

The crew behind the scenes includes Jake Wingo, Porchia Brown, Fangfei Lu and Quintin Todd.

Both Dale Rusche and Lyall Ford of Instructional Media have been extremely helpful with the equipment in the studio as the show is live streamed over YouTube.
