I had great students this fall semester. I was impressed by the research and accomplishments of my workshop in Art Media upper level students.

Each one crated artwork of quality to be represented in their Senior Exhibitions. Everyone should look forward to seeing art work created by these talented students in the annual Juried Student Art Exhibition at the Mulvane or in their senior shows.

My Ceramics I class was so fun to work with! I enjoyed helping them learn about creating personally expressive and functional pieces. Each student found a unique way to creatively solve challenges of forming, deciding on surface treatment, and firing their works.

My biggest challenge is trying to stay one step ahead of them as they present new ideas for me to assist in bringing to completion. Students keep me hoppin’!
