The 11th annual Anime Festival Wichita will be at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Wichita from Friday, July 10 through Sunday, July 12.

Tickets for the convention, hosted by Wolfmoon Productions, are 12 dollars for Friday, 20 dollars for Saturday, 15 dollars for Sunday and 40 dollars for the entire weekend.

The weekend will include several panels with featured guests including voice actors David Vincent, Leah Clark, and Rachael Messer. Other guests are Ogawa Burukku a storyboard artist and translator from Japan, novelist Susanne Lambdin and special effects artist and Kansas native, Damien Zimmerman.

The convention will hold panels such as “Cosplay on the Cheap” and “Intro to LARP” (live action role play) as well as a room dedicated to table-top gaming.

Participants will also be able to purchase art and merchandise from vendors. There will be a “cosplay fashion show” and competition for those interested. There will also be an Anime Music Video Contest in addition to an Elegant Gothic Lolita Tea party.

Registration for the event runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
