WU Fest brings in food and activities for new and returning students

WU Fest was held on Aug. 17 in celebration of Welcome Week for incoming and returning students to Washburn University in the Union Courtyard.

Festivities including free concessions such as cotton candy and snow cones, as well as bottled water. Multiple stands were set up down the sidewalk by Greek houses welcoming new members and various clubs at Washburn.

Inflatable slides, bungee slides, plastic roller balls, rock walls and live music were only some of the attractions you could take part in.
