TOPCON presents Geek Expo 2015, an event that gives gamers a chance to participate in cosplay contests, gaming tournaments and vendor exhibits on Sept. 18, 19 and 20 at the Ramada Topeka Downtown Hotel & Convention Center.

The exhibitions will include performances by Steamworks & Shadows, Beard and Bean, and many more. It will include music and art pieces by Topeka artists to be observed and purchased.

Cosplay is welcome to participants, and official cosplayers will hold a meet and greet for fans. Professionals making appearances include Zombie Response Team, IBOT: Iron Brothers of Topeka, The 501st Legion: Vader’s Fist and the Red Dalek in the VORTEX CORE.

Vendors will be present to show off their products, including big names like Vintage Stock, Gamers HQ and Boom Comics. Other vendors include some seen at “Afterglow,” including Biocustom Consoles, Video Game Perlers and Warp Zone Retroplex.

Gaming will be available throughout the venue, and vendors will be issuing challenges for gamers to win prizes. Many products including those made by local Topeka vendors will be on display, as well as consoles. Workshops and seminars will be hosted to show professional cosplay and makeup.

TOPCON encourages participants to sign up early and get into the VIP party held on Friday with food and shows, only pre-registered participants may gain access to VIP passes.
