The Student Life team presented the Achieving Excellence award today to Margie Miller, Assistant Professor in the Kinesiology Department.  Margie’s student nominators wrote  “she has been one of the most influential people in my life thus far” and “her compassion for students and coworkers, her creativity in the classroom…make our program better each and every day”.

The Student Life Achieving Excellence Award is presented to the faculty, staff or community leader who has been nominated and who demonstrates excellence in working with individual students, student groups or organizations.

Achieving Excellence nominations are accepted in Student Life, Morgan Hall 240, on a continual basis.  Information is available in the Student Life office as well as other Student Life departments, online at www.washburn.edu/studentlife, or as a fillable form at http://tinyurl.com/achieve-excellence, and may be requested or submitted by email at [email protected].  Take a moment today to nominate one or two of the deserving individuals on our campus!
