As the leaves on the trees start to change color and a cold breeze sets across campus, the fall television season begins.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” is the latest installment in the “American Horror Story” franchise.

“Hotel is darker, bloodier, and grislier than seasons past,” claimed director Ryan Murphy. The series is told in a multitude of different stories, which all intertwine and eventually come together in the end of the season. This show began on Oct. 7 and can be found on FX, and will continue weekly on Wednesdays.

“I think that it has a lot of potential because it is the last season,” said Indigo Wilson-Schmidt, sophomore English major. “I’m excited to see what they do with it.”

“Fargo” is a series based on the Coen brother’s movie. It is set in Minnesota in the 1970s, and it is classified as a black comedy series. Last year was the its first debut as a series and FX decided to continue it this year with an all new story. You can watch this show on FX on Oct. 12.

“Doctor Who” is a British series that has been going on since 1963, having had a break between 1989 and 2005. This season is focused on the newest version of the doctor, played by Peter Capaldi, and his companion, Clara, played by Jenna Coleman.

“Doctor Who” is a sci-fi series based on a mysterious man who simply goes by the Doctor and travels through time and space. The Doctor uses a device called the T.A.R.D.I.S. which stands for Time and Relative Dimensions in Space. You can watch this show on BBC America on Sept. 19.

“I’m tentatively exited for it,” explained sophomore Adriana Hendrix. “I’m not a big fan of Stephen Moffat, but I am a fan of Peter Capaldi.”

“The Flash” is a TV show on the CW about a man named Berry Allen, who by accident is given the super power of extreme speed. He uses these powers to become the super hero, the Flash. He fights criminals who were affected by the same accident as him. The setting is in the fictional Starling City. This is the shows second season. You can watch this show on the CW starting on Oct. 6.
