Representatives from organizations in Turkey talk about their first-hand experience working with refugees from Syria. The panel discussed the need for holistic and comprehensive policies that address and protect rights of women specifically in the situations like this. Women on the panel said that a gender perspective in the humanitarian response is a necessity for protecting the rights of refugee women.
