Brief: Culinary Workshop brings culture

The International Culinary Workshop called “A Taste of China” will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the Washburn A/B Room.
The event will feature professional chef and author Fuchsia Dunlop who has released multiple cookbooks including, “Every Grain of Rice” and “Revolutionary Chinese Cookbook.”
Registration for the event will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a gourmet buffet from noon to 1:30 p.m. that will cost $10 in advance, or $12 at the door. Then Dunlop will hold a lecture from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and a cooking workshop from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
