Brief: Beatty explores presidential election

College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Faculty Lecture will feature Bob Beatty, professor of political science and KSNT News political analyst.
The lecture, titled “American Shocker: Inside the Wild 2016 Presidential Election from Start to Finish” will take place 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center. The lecture may provide insight for those feeling that this election is particularly unusual.
Beatty began working as a political analyst for KSNT in 2004. He specializes in election coverage and even moderated a debate between senatorial candidates Pat Roberts and Greg Orman. Beatty has also served as a visiting professor for the United States Department of State and wrote a documentary on governorship in Kansas.
