The gallery titled Creations of Hope is set for its grand opening 5 to 8 p.m., Feb. 4 in the North Topeka Arts District.

The ribbon cutting will occur at 4:30 p.m. with performances by a local band called Top City Bluegrass. Refreshments, art displays and other activities will be available for guests.

The Creations of Hope gallery’s mission is to raise awareness of mental health by celebrating art as a voice of resilience and hope. The gallery is sponsored by the Expressive Therapies program at Valeo Behavioral Health Care, a non-profit organization and is made possible through grants and donations.
