The office of Student Life presented Rebecca Meador, music professor, the Achieving Excellence Award, March 30.

This award is given to the faculty, staff member or community leader who demonstrates excellence in working with individual students, student groups and organizations.

The award serves as a way to recognize individuals who most exemplify such principles based on everyday behaviors or special isolated events and activities.

If any Washburn student has someone they would like to nominate, the Student Life office is continually accepting in Morgan 240. Awards are presented in September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April and May.
