The Washburn theatre department is holding auditions for their newest play “Constellations” by Nick Payne.

The auditions will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, and 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 29. Both of these auditions will take place in Garvey 032.

Scripts for auditions are located in the theatre department office, Garvey Center 133, and require a deposit to obtain.

“Constellations” is an intimate play written by English playwright Nick Payne about the relationship between main characters Marianne and Roland’s budding relationship. The work is structured as a series of vignettes set across time and space. The work has a runtime of about 75 minutes.

The performance dates are set for 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 28, 29, 30 as well as a 2 p.m. show on Oct. 1.
