GALLERY: Students go head to head in Greek Olympics

  • All teams of WU fraternities and sororities are participating in the Greek Olympics which was held in Lee Arena, on March 29. Later, all team members were set up to compete with each other, while attendees showed support for the event.

  • Hunter Wise, junior in mass media, Caden Davis, junior in finance,Tyler Budeen, sophomore in Business with Team Kappa Sigma pose for a photo with great excitement. They also took the opportunity to catch up with their friends in the Greek Olympics.

  • All teams of WU fraternities and sororities are participating in the Doughnuts on string game with great excitement and supported their team. However, Team Alpha Phi lost the game.

  • Ichabods participate in various activities and compete with each other. Participants had tons of fun together at the event.They were all energetic throughout the event.

  • Jade Vopat, junior in biology, from team Delta Gamma got maximum points and won the plate toss. However, Team Alpha Delta seemed shocked after she aced the game.

  • Anthony Hamilton, junior in finance, throws the ball while hiding the ball at his back to help his team win. His strategy was successful, and he emerged as the hero of the game.

  • Genevieve Michaelis, junior in communication, Kersey Herman, sophomore in nursing, Kati Woltje, sophomore in nursing with teammates of Alpha Phi participate with full enthusiasm. Other teammates cheered for their team to win but, unfortunately, lost the match with Team Zeta Tau.

  • Men versus women at the “Greek Olympics” tug of war challenge. The men had won the challenge when they pulled the women back to the ground.

  • All fraternities and sororities present pose for a photo at the end of the event. The Greek Olympics was a great opportunity for people to socialize with their friends.
