Ichabods compete at second outdoor meet of the season

  • Paola Castaldi, sophomore in kinesiology, spins to throw the hammer in the hammer throw event. Castaldi placed second in the event with a top throw of 50.25 meters.

  • Kim Smith, freshman in sports management, leans back before her attempt in the long jump. Smith placed second in the event with a top jump of 5.81 meters.

  • Naiuri Krein, freshman in pre-engineering, and Ashley Heavner, freshman in mass media, sprint toward the hurdles in the 100-meter hurdle event. Krein placed 10th in the event with a time of 15.51 seconds and Heavner placed 12th with a time of 15.94 seconds.

  • Tommy Lancaster, freshman in criminal justice, sprints toward the finish line in the 100-meter dash. Lancaster had a final time of 11.98 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 24.72 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

  • Logan Ayers, junior in mass media, throws the discus in the discus event. Ayers threw 37.71 meters in the discus and 46.22 meters in the hammer throw.

  • Isabella Hohl, junior in marketing, sprints across the track in the 100-meter dash finals. Hohl placed second in the event with a provisional time of 11.80 seconds.

  • Mitch Miller, senior in biology and pre-med, spins in the ring to warm up for the discus event. Miller placed fifth in the discus with a top throw of 49.64 meters.

  • Josh Hopkins, junior in finance, races around the track in the 4×100-meter relay. Washburn’s relay team placed fourth with a time of 41.95 seconds.

  • Katelyn Jones, sophomore in nursing, runs around the track in the 400-meter dash. Jones placed seventh in the race with a time of 59.12 seconds.

  • Lexie Fontaine, freshman in sonography, runs toward the finish line in the 800-meter run. Fontaine placed 11th in the event with a time of 2:21.35.

  • Konner Verbeck, freshman in anthropology, and Jayce Brenner, freshman in psychology, race around the track in the 800-meter run. Verbeck placed eighth with a time of 1:56.66 and Brenner placed 12th with a time of 1:58.94.

  • Olumide Adams, sophomore in political science, flies over the hurdle in the 400-meter hurdle event. Adams placed fifth in the event with a time of 57.38 seconds.
