Washburn takes a loss against Fort Hays

Aubree Dewey, junior in elementary; Emma Chapman, senior in psychology; Schiefereck and Figueroa congratulate Gabi Artis, freshman in sports management, on her free throws. The team gained two points from her free throws.

Former Washburn president, Jerry Farley, searches for the perfect seat at the game. Farley took his last walk from the president’s office Sept. 30 and still supports the Ichabods as president emeritus.

Dewey dribbles the ball down the court during the third quarter. She looked around to see who she could pass to before the shot clock hit zero.

Mickey Coyne, senior in criminal justice, takes the half court shot during half time. Coyne missed the shot only hitting the rim of the basket.

Macy Doebele, senior in medical imaging, Dewey, Figuero and Chapman walk out onto the court. They were ready and encouraged to start the game after their team huddle.
