Bods on the Block: “Are you ready for football games to be back at Washburn?”

  • It’s back: Football returns to Washburn after a year off due to COVID-19.

  • Laurel Padilla, a freshman exploratory. “Yeah, I’ve not been at a Washburn football game. I’m happy we get sports back.”

  • Alexis Silva, sophomore psychology and forensic criminology major. “Yes! I don’t really attend the football games since I live in a different city. I do like football, though. How can I watch the games? I’m going to look into that.”

  • Kyler Kaniper, a sophomore finance and economics major. “Yes. I might be working the gates with the track team. Let’s go, Bods!”

  • Phelipe Haniel, freshman biology major. “I might go to the game [tonight]. I like football. I know the Ichabods will win!”

  • Courtney Cox, a senior art and anthropology major. “Probably not. Not really, no. I’ve never been to a football game. I’m not into sports and not into sitting in the hot sun.”

  • Ahmed Alanazi, a senior business major. “I’ll be in class. I’ve been wanting to go to a football game to experience a different thing because I play soccer and watch all things.”
