Success week events preview

Washburn’s Success Week offers many events that can help students de-stress as they prepare for their upcoming finals. Here are a few events to look forward to:
Monday, Dec. 3
Pillow Talk: Make a pillow in Mabee Library and talk about sexual health and how to protect yourself. Penis shaped cookies will be provided as well as free condoms. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
De-stress with pets: Come to The Rec’s Multipurpose room from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m to get some furry friend time. The Helping Hands Society is bringing dogs for students to play with to help them relieve stress and take their mind off of finals for a bit.
Tuesday, Dec. 4th
Get Creative: If crafts are a good way for you to relieve stress, head over to the Mulvane Art Lab from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to see what arts and crafts the art department will have available for students.
Wednesday, Dec. 5th
Chocolate Cram Session: The Mabee Library will have free Hazel Hill chocolate available in the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 6th
Carols and Cocoa: From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. enjoy holiday music and free hot cocoa in the Union Underground.
Friday, Dec. 7th
Taco Time: There will be a free taco bar at the Alpha Phi House at 6 p.m. First come, first serve.
Sunday, Dec. 9th
Get Energized: The Mabee library will have free pizza and energy drinks at 6 p.m. Get energized while you study for finals.
