The new Men’s Residence Hall will not be read for occupancy this fall semester as originally planned. For those eligible freshmen and upperclassmen several options have been arranged for living quarters and food service, according to Dean D.E. Hackett.
“All men who wish to live in the new hall when it opens may make arrangements to eat at the Benton Hall dining room during the fall semester until the opening of the residence hall’s facilities. Those who are interested in the meal service may sign up until Sept. 24 in the office of Student Personnel Services, Morgan 104,” Hackett said.
The Meal service offered under this program will provide three meals a day, Monday through Saturday, and noon dinner on Sunday. ˇhe cost will be $245 a semester. Installment payments can be arranged through the business office. Under this plan rom rental charges will date from the time occupancy is begun in the men’s hall.
As a second and third alternative the student may arrange to live in private homes and take meals in the Union or other places or pledge and elect to live in a fraternity house.
