TOPEKA- The Talkin’ Ichabods, Washburn University’s debate team of sophomores Joe Allen from Boise, Idaho and Tyler Dooley from Independence, Mo. won the championship round of the “Logger” invitational at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash. On their way to the championship, Allen and Dooley won all 10 of their debates. This also is the second of three national-level tournaments where their team has been crowned the tournament champions.
