TOPEKA – Speaker, Kris Kobach, a candidate for Secretary of State, will discuss his upcoming race, as well as other current political events at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in the Lincoln Room, Memorial Union, Washburn University. The event is free and open to the public. A question and answer session will follow and information will be available on how to volunteer for his campaign. Kobach is a graduate of Yale Law School, former chair of the Kansas Republican Party and professor, law, University of Missouri-Kansas City. College Republicans are sponsoring the event.
