TOPEKA – Join the Washburn community for Friday Night Madness Pep Rally at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in Lee Arena, Petro Allied Health Center on the Washburn campus. The rally is free and the community is encouraged to attend.

The pep rally will get everyone fired up for the big Homecoming football game against the Pittsburg State University Gorillas at 1:08 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 in Yager Stadium at Moore Bowl.

The rally will include short speeches from coaches and Washburn President Jerry Farley. Washburn athletic teams will perform in skits and dances, and a much anticipated sports highlight video created by Washburn senior Blake Kresge will debut that night. There will be free giveaways, including Homecoming T-shirts.

Washburn Student Government Association, Bod Squad and Student Athletic Advisory Committee are sponsoring the rally.
