Fundraiser supports Multiple Sclerosis
December 3, 2010
Dancing in itself is something most Washburn students enjoy. But it’s even easier to enjoy it when it’s going to a good cause.
On November 19, the American Medical Student Association, Washburn Student Government Association, Washburn University Leadership Institute, and the International Club of Washburn University helped sponsor”Just Dance with MS,” to bring awareness to the disease that affects 2.5 million individuals worldwide. It was hosted by the leadership institute.
Throughout the duration of the night, prizes were given away from various locations and optional donations could be made by Washburn students, while the public was charged $7 for the event. The proceeds went directly to the MS Society, which exists across the United States to bring awareness to the disease, which can cause people to become blind and/or paralyzed.

After an MRI i was diagnosed of MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. After years on medications, symptoms worsened with tremors on my right hand, numbness and tingling, muscle weakness and loss of speech. Fortunately last year, i learnt about Health Herbs Clinic and their Multiple Sclerosis alternative treatment ( healthherbsclinic ), the Multiple Sclerosis treatment made a great difference, most of my symptoms including tremors, weakness and others gradually disappeared. I improved greatly over the 6 months treatment, its been a years since the treatment, i have no symptoms. I have a very good quality of life and a supportive family!
