Echo Lake performed at The Dugout in Topeka on Saturday Jan. 15.

They entertained spectators for four hours playing three sets of cover songs along with one set of songs from their self-titled album. Echo Lake is a five-piece band made up of Washburn students consisting of lead vocals/guitarist, Dave Hess; Drummer, Matt Mirsch; guitarist, Michael Spangler; bassist, Scott Stormann; and saxophonist, TC Gomez.

The style of music is often compared to Dave Matthews and blues/funk.
