Wake Up lecture series to bring Jay Lang

“New Opportunities in Existing Markets” will be presented by Jay Lang, of Leawood, Kan., at the Wake Up with Washburn Breakfast lecture at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb, 24, in the Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center.
Lang is vice president, commercial finance and strategic development, for MachineryLink, which maintains the largest fleet of combines in North America providing guaranteed delivery of the latest harvest technology.
Prior to joining MachineryLink in 2003, Lang served as chief financial officer and general counsel for Nations Media Partners, where he completed more than 150 transactions with a total volume of $2.5 billion.
He is a certified public accountant and an attorney and holds two degrees from Washburn, a bachelor of business administration in 1985 and a juris doctor in 1995.
Tickets to the event are $12 for dues-paid members of the Washburn Alumni Association and $14 for non- members.
