Washburn University celebrated 147 years on Founders Day Monday, Feb. 6. The Founders Day celebration activities included two week-long contests. The winner of the “Like” Washburn 150 Facebook page contest was Josh Coufal, a junior at Washburn. Coufal won a 150^th prize pack.

Three people proved they knew the answers to the Washburn 150^th video quiz. Carol Jean Primm, scholarship coordinator, Victoria Schimmig, a freshman at Washburn, and Arlene Talbert each won a $50 gift certificate to the Washburn Bookstore.
