Diversity Initiative is sponsoring Washburn’s second diversity climate survey
February 7, 2013
The Washburn University’s Diversity Initiative is opening Washburn’s second diversity climate survey from Feb. 11 until Feb. 25. The survey will be available to all faculty, staff and students through a direct link that will be available in my.washburn next week.
The purpose of the survey is for the Washburn community to have a better understanding of how diversity issues are perceived on campus and to plan on how to improve the climate for all campus citizens.
The last diversity climate survey happened in 2010 and had over 1,200 people who completed the survey. This year Diversity Initiative hopes to surpass that number. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete and anyone who completes the survey may receive a 25 percent off coupon for the Ichabod Shop if they print the completion page and present it to the Multicultural Affairs office. Students are also encouraged to ask their professors about possible extra credit opportunities upon completing the survey.
For more information about the survey contact Kim Morse at [email protected] or check in my.washburn for the survey’s link.
