The Washburn women’s basketball team lost 85-80 against the Lindenwood Lions. The Lions outscored the Ichabods in the first half of the game with a 16 point lead at halftime. The Bods shot better in the second half as they came within one point from taking the lead. However, the Bods were down with three points in the remaining seconds of the game and missed a three point shot to tie the game. They fouled the Lions and the Lions made both free throw points to end the game. This leaves the end of the year with 6-4 record. The Bods will begin the new year with a game against Missouri Western Jan. 4 at Missouri Western.
