Location: Yager Stadium

Details: Washburn will host nine northeast area Kansas high school bands at the annual Capital City Marching Band Festival, which will feature nearly 1,000 students and their directors. Events begins at 6 pm with awards to be presented at approximately 9 pm. The event is open to the public. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students. Cash only.
