As everyone knows, the University is closed next Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. This means we will have some changes in when and where paychecks will be available for pick-up. First, a reminder about paydays (applies to both University and Tech employees):

• Faculty & administrative monthly – Wed, Nov 26
• Classified staff & students – Fri, Nov 28

If you have direct deposit of your pay, you will see it in your bank account on the appropriate date. *** DIRECT DEPOSIT PAY STUBS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE OVER THE BREAK *** Direct deposit pay stubs can be viewed in MyWashburn at any time.

If you do not have direct deposit, we encourage you to sign up this week to avoid having to pick up a check over the break.

For those who receive paper paychecks, here is the schedule of when they will be available to be picked up:

Note that all checks, even for Tech employees, must be picked up on the University campus during the break. Please observe the following “rules” when picking up your check:

1. You may only pick up your own check.
2. You must show a photo ID before you can receive your check.
3. You must sign the signature sheet before you can receive your check.

Washburn Campus Police have been told to follow the above guidelines over the break, so please keep that in mind. If you have any questions, please contact the Payroll Office.
