We’ve heard about a recent uptick in phishing e-mails (e-mail designed to get you to reveal usernames and passwords) targeting university students, faculty, and staff. Once the attacker gains access to an account, they may attempt to alter direct-deposit information to steal funds. Student refunds and financial aid may be at risk if account credentials are compromised. Please see the links below for what to watch out for and what you can do if you are concerned your MyWashburn account may have been compromised.
