Washburn students presented at K-INBRE symposium

This past weekend (January 17-18) seven Washburn students from the Biology and Chemistry Departments presented their research in the poster session at the 13th Annual Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (K-INBRE) Symposium. The symposium was held in the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka with about 250 attendees from ten universities in Kansas and Oklahoma. There were 119 posters presented in the poster session. Washburn student Jalen Dickson won one of the 12 Outstanding Poster Presentation Awards, and Sarah Walker received one of the 12 Honorable Mentions. Congratulations to Jalen and Sarah!
