Important information for spring and summer undergraduates and master’s candidates for graduation (May ceremonies)

Do you plan to complete your undergraduate or graduate degree this spring or summer and participate in the Spring 2015 Commencement ceremonies on SATURDAY, MAY 16? If so, please visit the COMMENCEMENT WEB SITE at www.washburn.edu/commencement – there is a link to this site on the Student Academics tab in MyWashburn (in the left column under Graduation and Beyond) and also in the A-Z Index at www.washburn.edu (under C for commencement). School of Law candidates will find degree audit and commencement information at www.washburnlaw.edu/commencement.

The deadline to file the required online Application for Graduation (undergraduates and graduates) is Friday, February 6, 2015. A link to this form is available on the Commencement web site. Questions regarding the Application for Graduation and eligibility to participate in the ceremony should be directed to [email protected].
On the Spring Ceremonies page at www.washburn.edu/commencement under Important Information in the right column, there is a PDF “First Letter to Spring & Summer Candidates.” This is not actually a mailing, but it is the first notice and will give you the basic information you need to know. There will be one (1) official mailing on or around April 10, 2015 of the Spring Ceremony Instructions to the final candidates who have filed an Application for Graduation and have received clearance to participate in one of the ceremonies.
Questions regarding the ceremonies only should be directed to the Commencement Services Office at [email protected].
Mark your calendar and make plans to attend the GRADUATION FAIR on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Washburn Room in Memorial Union – your one stop shop for your graduation needs!
