Washburn is seeking an Ichabod mascot performer. Tryouts will be Tuesday, Feb. 24, but applicants need to pre-register by Friday, Feb. 20.

Tryouts will consist of a brief interview session and will be followed by a performance audition. Mascot performers may earn up to $650 stipend per semester.

The Ichabod is the official mascot of Washburn University. Use of the mascot is intended to enhance the tradition and spirit of the audience through exaggeration, characterization and entertainment.
