No One Else Can Take Your Place: Factors Predicting LGBT Suicide Risk

Chelsea’s study examined the factors most highly correlated with LGBT suicidal ideation: biological, psychological, or social factors. She hypothesized that psychological factors would be the strongest predictors of LGBT suicidal ideation. Biological and psychological factors were found to most strongly predict suicidal ideation. The presentation concluded that suicide prevention methods should target biological and psychological factors in LGBT individuals.
