On Tuesday, April 21, long-time CIS Adjunct Instructor Bob Kennedy passed away.  For over 20 years Bob taught classes on computer literacy and introductory programming for Washburn.

“He was always willing to help out when we needed him to teach a class.  I think it’s not an exaggeration to say that Bob was one of the kindest people one will ever meet.  He was universally liked by his students and fellow faculty.  He will be missed,” said Bruce Mechtly, chair of the computer and information sciences department, in an email statement to all faculty and staff

A link to his obituary is below.  The viewing will be at the Kevin Brennan Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 7.
