Important Information for Fall Undergraduate and Graduate Candidates for Graduation (December Ceremony)

Do you plan to complete your undergraduate or graduate degree this fall and participate in the Fall 2015 Commencement ceremony on FRIDAY, DEC. 11? If so, please visit the COMMENCEMENT WEB SITE at www.washburn.edu/commencement – there is a link to this site on the Student Academics tab in MyWashburn (in the left column under Graduation and Beyond) and also in the A-Z Index at www.washburn.edu (under C for commencement). (School of Law candidates please see below).

The deadline to file the required online Application for Graduation (undergraduates and graduates) is Friday, Sept. 4, 2015. This form is located at www.washburn.edu/registrar and also a link to this form is available on the Commencement web site. Questions regarding the Application for Graduation and eligibility to participate in the ceremony should be directed to [email protected].

On the Fall Ceremony page at www.washburn.edu/commencement under Important Information in the right column, there is a PDF “First Letter to Fall Candidates.” This is not actually a mailing, but it is the first notice and will give you the basic information you need to know. There will be one (1) official mailing on or around Nov. 13, 2015 of the Fall Ceremony Instructions to the final candidates who have filed an Application for Graduation and have received clearance to participate in one of the ceremonies.
