Sexual Assault

The Washburn University Police Department is currently investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred on August 30th, 2015. The assault was reported to University Police on September 4th, 2015. The incident occurred in Mabee Library and in Parking Lot #9 on the west side of the campus. The suspect was known to the victim and University Police have interviewed both parties involved. The investigation continues and at this time there is nothing to indicate any ongoing threat to the campus community.
