Brief: ‘Take a Leap’

‘Take a Leap’ challenges people to do their impossible. The General Assembly is hosting a contest that challenges participants to think of what dream they would want to accomplish if they had unlimited resources. The contest is open to all “U.S. legal residents who are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence,” according to the rules sheet on the General Assembly website. Participants must write a 500 word or fewer essay in order to enter. General Assembly will fly two winners to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The trip will be all expenses paid and will include a VIP tour of the Johnson Space Center and a one on one mentorship meetings with astronaut and Mount Everest climber Scott Parazynsk. The contest ends on Oct. 18.
