Dear Faculty Colleagues,

 

Last year small groups of faculty formed Course Success groups to address improving student success in their courses.  Participants were positive about the experience and you can read their reports at:

We will be offering the opportunity to participate again using the same format as last year (3 focused meetings over the course of the semester; brief summary report; $200 stipend for participating) but with more options.  In addition to focusing on improving student success, we are also giving groups the options of addressing SLO assessment OR studying open-access course materials to replace textbooks.  Please see the attached document for details.

 

Registration is online and the deadline for registration is Monday Feb. 22.

All CAS faculty, including adjunct faculty, are eligible.  If you want to participate but don’t know who to work with, we can help you find an appropriate group.  If you participated last year, you can also participate again.  If you have questions, contact Bruce Mactavish (x1636).
