The eighth annual Wellness Fair will occur from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 2 in Memorial Union’s Washburn A/B room. This fair has the intent of promoting and showcasing products, services, demonstrations and presentations all tied to physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, occupational, environmental and social well-being.

By attending this event students will be immersed in different forms of health and wellness. There will be a variety of services offered during the event including body fat percentage testing, massages, blood pressure testing and nutritional samples.

“This fair is about exposing students to the seven dimensions of wellness with a variety of activities,” said Briana Heinen, SRWC fitness and wellness intern.

Admission is free to Washburn students, staff and faculty. The Wellness Fair will also include prize drawings for the attendees. Prizes will be donated by various vendors including the Ichabod Shop, Body Heart and Sole, Pilates Performance & Rehab, Jenny Craig, Core Focus Wellness and more. To be eligible for a prize students have to attend and obtain initials from six tables and complete a short survey.
