Monday evening, we went off on our own to explore. Just a few blocks down from our hotel was Times Square where we had dinner, shopped, and saw “The Book of Mormon” a few days later. We were all surprised at how easy New York City is to navigate, and we had quite a bit of fun going on mini expeditions after our scheduled events throughout the week.
