Office of New Student Orientation unveils new student handbook

Review Staff Report

The Office of New Student Orientation has unveiled its newest addition to the New Student Orientation program: the New Student Orientation 2016 handbook.

The 60-page booklet contains a variety of information for incoming students, both freshmen and transfers, including the multitude of activities students can take part in at Washburn, different resource centers such as counseling services and local emergency contacts, an index of phone numbers for the departments and offices across campus, an introduction to student life and much more.

The handbook is the product of more than six months of work from various faculty and staff, according to director of New Student Orientation Mckinlaye Harkavy.

A book will be given to all of the students who attend New Student Orientation.
