The Washburn Ichabod women’s tennis team won two singles flights and all three doubles flights over the weekend at the Kossover Tennis Center. Medeline Hill, a sophomore mass media major, scored a win in both A flight singles and won the A flight in doubles championship with Jacquiline Engelbrecht.
With the wins, this moves Hills record to 7-0 for the season in singles and 7-0 with Engelbrecht in doubles. As a part of the family day activities at Washburn the team will host an alumni match and BBQ tailgate starting at 3 p.m. The team will then return to action in Kansas City on Sept. 21.
