Saturday, Jan 7 at 7 pm will see the Washburn Ichabods travelling to Emporia State University to take on the Hornets. The Ichabods have played very well this year, acquiring a descent record of 10-3.  Their loses all coming close with some of the better teams. After a disappointing loss. The Ichabod’s are looking to get back on track by competing to start a new win streak. The Hornets do not appear to be much of an obstacle for this goal, as they have only won six games and have lost seven. However, this could be a closer match than it appears at first glance. The Hornets only have one loss at home, and will be hosting the Ichabods in this matchup. Though heavily favored, this should be an interesting game for Washburn to start the new year.
