Brief: Volunteers clean city

Review Staff Report

Silverbackks, a volunteer organization, will organize the Get Down Get Dirty community clean up April 22 starting at the Kansas Museum of History.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and cleaning lasts from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will be followed by a picnic at Gage Park. Free food and prizes will be available at the picnic.

Get Down Get Dirty is a family friendly event and Silverbackks promotes the clean up as an opportunity for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to get volunteer hours.

Silverbackks will partner with Keep America Beautiful and will coincide with Earth Day.
