Talking crime: Washburn professor Sharon Sullivan gave a presentation discussing the realities of sex trafficking. In her slides, she showed just how young many prostitutes start out statistically, and discussed ways the community can come together to address cultural support of sex crimes. “The average age of entry into prostitution is 12 to 14 years old,” Sullivan said. “Deconstruct the glorification of pimp culture.”
