One Washburn alumna and former Review employee has lost nearly everything after her house in the Randolph neighborhood, a few blocks northeast of campus, was destroyed in a natural gas explosion July 19.

Multiple organizations in the community have set up ways to assist Ashley Nadeau, a 2011 graduate, and her infant daughter, who are currently left without a home.

A GoFundMe page was set up by Topeka Performing Arts Center, where Nadeau serves as director of marketing and development. According to the page, non-monetary items can be dropped off at the TPAC administration office or box office, 214 SE Eighth Ave.

The Ad Astra Theatre Ensemble will also be accepting items at its 24 Hour Play Festival 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 20 and 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21 at The Jayhawk Theatre, 720 SW Jackson St. Additional information, including a list of requested items can be found here.
